Farewell, Mystic !

MY GIANT NOGGIN!! ahh! haha.
Happy SATURDAY! It feels like Wednesday because my whole week was consumed with laying in bed rotting like a dead carcass watching Drop Dead Diva (which is my new obsession.) I was super sick Monday-Thursday which was a total crappy bummer, so that was pretty much a blurrr until Friday I woke up feeling much much better and could finally get to packing and feeling like a human again!
WAHOO!

The Mystic, CT Emulsion Apparel shop will be officially closed within the next few days, for as you know now it has a new home in Boston in the South End which were super duper excited about! So now it's a matter of taking the Mystic shop apart and moving the Newport, RI manufacturing to Boston as well, which is what Chris has been doing for the past few days (and this whole weekend! wahh!)

We're having a huge sale to get rid of some stuff before we depart, so GO GO GOOO and get some awesome gear for practically nothing! :-)

Mixed Mediums

OOTD: Din-Din date with my hubby! Zara studded shoulder floral blouse, UO crochet chorts, Bandolino wedges, RayBan glasses, & Cashew Bologna, my son.

From day to night, I went from work on Wednesday and ran home to change quick before a dindin date at one of our favorite local restaurants, AZU.
I kept my black crochet Urban Outfitters shorts on because they gave my ZARA blouse a laid back yet still shnazzy enough for dinner look.

*this is also a peek in to our back yard & some funny shots of Cashew, who must always be involved. :-)

Bean Town

The Saturday after our Engagement party, Chris, some friends and I went to Boston for the night!
It felt really nice to be back in a city; (i've lived in many city's!!) The energy of people and the creativeness everyone vibes off each other is something you definitely don't find in small towns. I'd like to have the best of both worlds, wouldn't you?
Boston is a great city because it's small enough to not even feel like a massive city, (like NYC) and you can have your car! (MEEP!)
Very convenient!
It's also closer to home than NYC is, and has a lot more people our age in one spot than most city's do. It was nice!

We stayed Saturday-Sunday to go see our friend Dave's band play at a club/bar called RADIO. It was really fun and their band was pretty rad.
The next day we walked around Allston and Harvard Square to do a little shopping as well as in hopes to find an empty retail location we can expand Emulsion to!...that isn't $12,000 a month. haha (YIKES!)

We did a little shopping and visited our friends over at ORCHARD SKATE SHOP !
I picked up these new TOMS and VANS. They are both uber comfy and go with just about everything...aka, my kinda shoes!

Cashew fell asleep on his Dad on the way home,, therefore we mess with him and make him wear sunnies. :-) He's the best when he's docile ! haha
