ZARA scarf // H&M sweater // FRYE boots
At the beginning of the month Chris & I took a last minute trip up to Grantham, NH with our friends Erica & Alex from Boston, MA to their amazing family house in the middle of the woods. We drove up on Friday the 3rd and spent the night eating good food at a local golf club and marinating by the fire with some Bailey's ! Come Saturday we took an adventure to an enormous antique and Vermont Country Store which was on the border of NH & VT and spent the day rummaging thru tons of cool stuff. We ended up with a deer skull which is now hanging above our bar in our cottage! (i'm super against hunting and have been a vegetarian since I can remember, but somehow have a love for antlers and animal skulls when it comes to decor...what can I say!?)
We spent the night at the house cooking an epic meal, watching movies by the fire and relaxing to the max!
Before we headed home the next day (Sunday) we spent the morning at an incredible breakfast place nearby and went down to this lake where we leaf peeped and snapped a few pics before hitting the road! It was SO beautiful and the air was so crisp and chilly! It really felt like Fall! <3
