A couple of weeks ago I had a post from the day Chris & I went to the beach with Cashew - it was by far the warmest and nicest day in January we have ever had! It was amazing. 

Well anyway, if you didn't know this already; Chris is an amazing photographer! (check out his photo blog) and he happen to take some photo's that day at the beach that weren't taken by a cell phone haha (my iphone takes most of my photos!)

He takes a lot of film photos and we just got them developed, so here they are! ~

Waist Coat Newbie

LONG WASITCOAT WITH ZIPS

So today I go this new little gem from ZARA! It's called a "long waistcoat" but really, it's a rad vest. 

After I had a terrible and annoying day yesterday, Chris surprised me with an early Christmas gift which turned out being this awesome army print coat with fur that I wanted from ZARA about a month ago on a previous shopping trip. Turns out, randomly I am a Small and not a Medium in ZARA and it was too big... :-( Bummer they didn't have a small left in stock, but I did get to exchange it for this awesome "waist coat"! & have a little fashion show with one of the Newbury Street, Boston employee's ! :-) Much fun. 

Did I mention I have the most amazing hubby ever?... <3

I also tried this coat on today and fell in love! It felt like a modern day Amelia Earhart jacket & is oh so soft! Definitely on my Christmas (or after Xmas) wish list.

A visit from Roy

Saturday was a lovely day of marinating in the sun with my love, throwing Cashew in the pool, running errands and preparing for my best friend Emily and her boyfriend Evan to visit for the night!

We spent the night eating delicious food at one of our favorite spots in Mystic, Azu- drinking blackberry mojito's and reminiscing on old times...it was lovely.

OOTD: Jcrew puckered dress, (gin & tonic in hand), gifted stone peace necklace, nine west wedges, & the usual armswag. 

Best Weekend EVER!!!

...and WHY was it the best weekend EVER?!...CHRIS AND I ARE ENGAGED!!! YaaYyYYY!. It was literally the most unbelievable few days of my life. This past Friday my good family friends Caitlin & Courtney (and their Mom!) all were coming down to visit us in Mystic for the weekend, so that morning Chris and I decided to go to our favorite beach in RI, Watch Hill for a few hours before they arrived later that day. Unbenounced to me, Chris had a bottle of Veuve Cliequot in his bag and as I was marinating in the sun, he asked me to marry him. It was PERFECT, romantic and such a surprise, and just absolutely amazing. It was a very emotional and memorable day, i wouldn't have changed a thing! <3

Basically this whole weekend has been like 2 weeks worth of activities, celebrating, eating and drinking all packed in to 3 days! haha 

Uhh-May-Zing!!!

17-19. Out celebrating on Saturday night with a bunch of my friends from Mystic.

20. Yesterday (Sunday) Chris and I went to the Providence Place mall and did a little shopping! (i got 2 super cute new dresses from JCrew!) and registered at Pottery Barn for our wedding. It was so much fun! <3

PS. We just started our wedding website with all of the details! Lots of planning to do, but to stay organized and keep everyone updated on the plans, wedding wire is a great website to do so!
