Last weekend Chris & I had made all of these plans to get a bunch of stuff done before this week (before the wedding, etc) and before we leave for Mexico, but we ended up both getting super duper sick and are still in recovery :-(

We went out for a drink on Friday night and ended up realizing we weren't feeling so well - I am still rotting on the couch in my sweatpants, counting down the minutes until we leave for Mexico and am super frustrated I can't really do anything productive. UGH..being sick is the worst!!! 

Oxblood

This Falls "hottest" trend right now is Oxblood everything! If the word "oxblood" didn't make me ill, i'd probably talk about it more. I've never been a huge fan of burgundy...probably because most shades of it just look absolutely dreadful on pale skin with blonde hair...aka ME. It's a tricky color! 

Oxblood has more brown in it than red which makes it less harsh = score! 

You can find similar pieces to the ones pictured above at H&M, Forever21, ZARA etc! The trendy color is just about everywhere, so go pick yourself up some shnazzy oxblood pieces to spice up your current wardrobe.

Memorabilia car = a collection of probably all the gadgets and toys we all had in the 80's & 90's. 

Last Thursday Chris, our friends and I all went to Rosebud Bar & Grill in Somerville, MA to see Dave & Jhai's band play; They're called "Nouns" - and are super good and fun to watch ! :-) It was kinda a crappy night out but we made it fun as always!
