This outfit is the epitome of my all time favorite things; comfort, practicality, & nautical'ness. My Minnetonka's have all lived quite a life. I have been collecting Minnetonka Moccasins since the beginning of time! They are so comfy and just get better with age. I have yet to find any top and/or shoes that don't go with boyfriend jeans... they are my absolute favorite pair of pants to dress up or down. J.Crew makes the best ! <3

When it comes to stripes, i'm a stripey gal! There's nothing not to love about a good ol' comfy striped shirt. Navy blue and white stripes just scream nautical, well more like whisper - because it's not obnoxious, yet always classic!

One of my favorite trends of all time are the Boyfriend Jeans. It's an excuse to wear pants that are on the comfier side and have a little sag to them without looking manly. I guess the point is for them to look like you borrowed them from your Boyfriend, right? 

I have been asked many times how to style Boyfriend Jeans, what to wear them with, when they are appropriate to wear, etc!

 Well, my answer to that is - there is never a wrong time for Boyfriend Jeans, as long as you wear them properly and not frumpily.

Personally, I love wearing mine with a peplum top and heels of some sort. I am a bit busty so if I go baggier on the bottom, I have to make sure not to wear baggy on top and lose my waist; which would then make me look like a blob in a trash bag. If your torso and chest are on the smaller side, don't be afraid to wear something looser but maybe tucked in - again, not to lose your waist or hips completely.

Boyfriend jeans are one of my favorite Spring/Summer jeans! They're super comfy, and literally look like you borrowed them from your fella - 

My favorite way to style boyfriend jeans is to wear heels of your choice and a girly top to balance the baggier pants. I paired my jeans with nude heels from Victorias Secret & a polkadot peplum top I picked up at TJ MAXX before our Mexico wedding! Peplum is the best to wear when you need your waist to be defined, especially when wearing baggier pants! 

ps- I am wearing a brown belt which isn't pictured because I buy my boyfriend jeans one size too big for extra comfort!...belts are definitely needed then! 

While wearing this outfit, Chris & I went to one of our favorite restaurants which I speak of quite frequently! FORDS LOBSTERS in NOANK, CT. It has the BEST peel & eat shrimp!! <3

We go there literally once a week or 2 with my parents, it's amazing because its BYOB and has very affordable and super delicious food. It's extremely casual, but who doesn't like to dress up a little bit when going out to dinner, right?!
