With my severe lack of facebook posts lately, my only excuse is that i've had a lot going on in my brain and no time to actually talk about it. First there was Halloween, Sandy, our Emulsion art show and then the election and now it's almost mid-November already and I honestly can't sit still long enough to go thru the past few weeks! I've had some good down time in between some mayhem, but have needed a bit of a blogging and computer hiatus. Sometimes time away from the "real world" just feels good, and staying in your own head to figure things out and live your life without documentation is necessary. 

But here I am, back in action! I almost forgot to blog about Sandy and all of her craziness !

We actually got really lucky here in Boston and never lost power. How? I have NO idea. It was so spooky out and the wind was unreal. Mystic, CT our home town on the other hand, got drowned and flooded with high tides, ocean water and tons of fallen trees. Nothing compared to NYC and NJ, but still...it's all pretty spooky what mother nature is capable of. Have you seen the floating taxi's in NYC? It's insane. People all over the East Coast are STILL without power, and I am almost forgetting the storm even happened. Strange how things come and go in your consciousness if an action doesn't directly effect you. It's weird. 

Hope everyone is safe and sound and has their power back!
