O

No new news here, Obama won the election! And I feel indifferent. I personally can never complain about our government because I have never actually voted. To back up my poor reason why I have never voted, I am not in to politics and rarely ever watch the news; hence why both times I have been old enough to actually vote, i've lived in NYC and now MA and completely forgot to send in for an absentee ballot to place my vote. My bad. :-/ . The thing is - this election, I didn't want either of them to win, so I never thought about it that much I guess. Sad excuse for not exercising my right to vote, I know. But, whoever won (Obama, yes) has to turn our country around. Chris and I are on our way out the door into another country because of the way things are run in this day and age in our country.
It scares me to have children any time soon in the world we live in. I'm sure i'm not the only one who feels that way...isn't that sad? Whoever is the president, all moral reasons aside; things have to change.
Food stamps are become a form of currency, it's insanity! We are the United States, the most "powerful" country in the world yet we are in so much debt we can barely afford gas for our cars and healthcare for people who are literally dying all over the place? I find it hard to feel proud to live in the U.S. right now. I can't help it.
People agree and disagree with so many things politically, i've never gotten in to it..literally EVER until right now. It's just sad and frustrating that people with college degree's and even masters degree's are working at restaurants for minimun wage because they can't find a job. It's sick.
Education is become less meaningful because of that. Who wants to spend their life savings sending their kids to college when they come out of it in 4 years, they aren't even guaranteed a job thats half way descent?
Thats ludicrous.
The possibilities for success are dwindling away because of the debt we're in. Obama needs to figure something out, and fast!. I feel bad for him, he is only one man; No one can expect him to change the world. But he has so many amazing policies that I completely agree with which is why I am glad he won the election all in all. I couldn't stomach voting for Romney based solely on the way he views women's rights, how he feels about gay marriage, and wanting to cut costs in ways that are helping so many women right now. The flip side of it is; so many people in our country take these things for granted and misuse them in all sorts of ways. No need to even get in to the fact that people are having 8 children on welfare and our taxes are paying for their lives...You get the point.
I guess I have no real point in expressing my opinion, other than this is my blog and I can say whatever I feel like, HA!

U go Obama. Make shit happen.
