BI weekend got cancelled, so we went to Boston instead! :-)

The new ZARA blazer/jacket I picked up in Boston! ^

This weekend Chris' and my anniversary plans got put on "hold" because of the shitty crappy poopy rain. Can you tell i'm a bit bummed?..

BUT what we DID do instead which was super fabulous and so much fun, was go to Boston for the night! Yes, we go there a lot but we stayed at a super nice hotel called the Boston Park Plaza Hotel which is in our favorite area of Bean town - Backbay/Newbury street.

We drank Moet champagne and went out to dinner at La Voile, i'm pretty sure it's our new favorite French restaurant! 

If you know Chris and I at all, you know that we LOVE going out to eat and LOVE good food (who doesn't?!) but i'm pretty sure we have an appreciation for French food especially that a lot of people don't. 

What we loved about this place was the great food ((obvi)) and the atmosphere was super great! We sat outside because it was a gorgeous night and everyone who worked there was French, or spoke French perfectly! It brought us both right back to when we were in Paris together last Summer...truly amazing! 

We did a bit of shopping Friday and today, walked up and down Newbury street to some of our favorite places. 

I picked up a some rad new gear at Anthropologie (where i picked up this super cute dress!), ZARA (where i picked up this white blazer/jacket & a printed blouse!) & H&M! City shopping is to die for over the dinky stores we have in or near Mystic..It was nice to feel like we were in a city again! 

(notice the past few posts i have said that over and over again?)....

We also stopped in at a realtor's office to see what apartments for buying and leasing cost etc, what we could get for our moolah if we wanted to get a place in Boston as a 2nd place to live, which was super fun and exciting whether anything becomes of it or not. :-)

When we got home I instantly got on the computer and started looking up all sorts of things and came across these 2 tanks that UNIF makes; goodie goodie! 

Now it's POURING rain out, like hugeeee rain drops so we are stuck inside catching up on cleaning, laundry and web-stuff...wahooo! 

Time to put a movie on and make some spaghetti and meatless meatballs!! YUM! <3
