I know UGGs get a bad wrap sometimes - and they are known for not being the most attractive boot in the world, but I've always been an UGG supporter and fan because I remember getting my first pair when I was in Norway a longgg time ago before they even came to the U.S. & have continually grown to love each pair more and more!
UGGs quickly became popular with every teenage girl and soccer Mom from here to Timbuktu shortly after I wore them to school and got made fun of. I still wore them and loved them.
Funny enough - for those of you who don't really know the origin of the UGG , is they were created for MEN in Australia to wear after surfing to warm their feet quickly; hence the sheepy warm wooly insides which make them so popular!
Now - the truth is, I genuinely own over 6 or 7 pairs of UGGs and have only gotten rid of maybe 2 of my original pairs from YEARS ago, believe it or not! If you take care of them and don't wear them in 5ft of snow and let them get all soggy and ruined, they really will last quite a while!
(always get the protective spray or rub for the suede ones, which also helps with weather-proofing them.)
These MAYLIN booties are the latest addition to my UGG collection. I have been scouting these out since they came out last Winter, but finally came around to getting them today because NORDSTROM has an amazing sale and they were 40% off!! ....you can't beat 40% off of just about anything!
...needless to say, I am pretty psyched for these new wooly fellas to warm my tootsies when they arrive in the mail in t-minus 5 days. WOOT!
