Successful Madewell trip! (and perfume purchase :-)

Anyone that knows me knows that I am a jean short, or "jort" if you will, junkie! 

I literally live in jean shorts all Summer long and am always on the prowl for a new and exciting pair to take home.

Over the weekend, Chris & I headed up to Providence, RI to the Providence Place Mall where the closest Madewell store is (and J.Crew & all the good stuff!) which is about 40 min or so from our house in Mystic, CT! Not too shabby. 

I absolutely LOVE Madewell, it houses some of my favorite clothing and never ceases to amazing my eyeballs when walking thru the door. I immediately went straight for the denim section and fell in love with these shorts! They come in 3 or so different shades of denim and are the comfiest, semi-high-waisted, perfect length, good quality denim jorts.

 I would highly recommend them to anyone and everyone who's in the market for the perfect jean short. They also run very true to size which is always nice.

I also picked up this Springy in to Summertime Sweater, perfect for boat rides and bundling at night.

Feathers, Flowers & Leopard

It's finally Wednesday! This week is going by oddly fast and slow at the same time if it's possible. Yesterday and today I haven't been feeling so well :-/ The long weekend of celebrations got to me I guess!... no fun having a weak immune system. BAH! But when my hubby came home from work he brought me this gorgeous bouquet of flowers for our anniversary! (we celebrate, or try to at least! every month on the 26th!) :-) Any excuse for an extra dinner date, flowers and extra lovvin', right? 

So last night we went out for a yummy dinner at DPI in Mystic, one of our favorite spots & then came home and did some wedding research! 

Cross your phalanges that my obnoxious illness disappears before the weekend so we can celebrate some more! YAY !
