Winter Wonderland

Steve Madden coat (similar here!) // H&M striped turtleneck (similar here!) & pants //
Sorel snow boots // Winter headband & matching gloves gift via Bestemors

Yesterday Chris & I took a "half snow day" and drove to Haley Farm (one of our favorite places to take Cashew on walks, etc!) and took a brisk walk in the absolutely freezing temperatures to get out of the house before heading to the studio!
If you haven't noticed, New England is one of the most scenic places ever for all sorts of ocean views and rolling nature. I have lived all over the world (literally) and always have seemed to move back to New England where we have all the Seasons, even when its freezing and I miss Summertime more than anything; I absolutely love how beautiful it is where we live. I can't imagine ever living in a place without nature and the ocean, it's absolutely breathtaking and never seizes to amaze me!

Joan Of Arctic

My best girlfrannns Emily & Kelly! <3

^ Brother Nicholai

^ Little frozen fam !

Last weekend we took a trip up to the Vermont house with some friends and fam and Cashew of course! We pretty much spent it all snug and bundled up by the fire due to the 1* weather in Ludlow, but it was so beautiful and snowy we had to make our way outside a few times.
Every time we're in VT we have our few traditions of going to our favorite spots and quirky shops; Buttermilk Falls & Singletons to be exact.
My brother is still in CT visiting from California (he hasn't been home for more than 1 week a year in 10 years!) so we've been pretty psyched to have him home, and finally up at the VT house!

The day we went to Buttermilk Falls (pictured above) it was literally 1-5* out.... insanely cold for us CT folk! So we all bundled up as much as humanly possible & strapped on our snow boots for the trek.
My all time favorite snow boots are SOREL - Joan Of Arctic boots
I've had them for 2 or 3 Winters now, and haven't needed to wear much of anything else come snow stompin' days!
They come in a ton of different colors which is awesome, but I stuck to my usual all black errr'thang and went with the BLACK ones. :-)
