Our Guide To Mystic, CT Restaurants

If you're from Mystic, CT or just visiting - you will quickly realize that we have some of the best restaurants around in just one small town! From amazing sushi to delicious gluten free pizza, Mystic will surely not disappoint in the food (and scenery) category!
Here are our absolute top/favorite restaurants in town (or near by!) and what our go-to's are at each place :


BREAKFAST ~ 

Somewhere In Time 
ME:
Spicy Santa Fe Omelet - 
Black beans, Jalapenos, Salsa, Avocado, & Cheddar Cheese & endless coffee
CHRIS:
Little Breakfast - 
2 eggs over medium, Toast, Home-fries & endless coffee


The Cooked Goose
ME : Spinach & Goat Cheese Omelet 
CHRIS : Egg Sandwich 


LUNCH ~

S&P OYSTER
ME: Stonington Sea Scallops or California Vegetable Burger (with no bun)
CHRIS: Lobster Roll or the Special for the day
(This place has the BEST outdoor terrace overlooking the water, as well as the friendliest wait staff, it's truly a delight on a sunny day!)


The Cooked Goose
ME: Open Faced Tuna Melt w/ fries or Eliza's Veggie Burger
CHRIS: The BLT w/ fries or Chicken Club Sandwich 


 DINNER ~

Bravo Bravo
ME:
 Appetizer : Crispy Artichoke & Arugula Salad
Dinner : PEI Mussels in White Wine Sauce w/ a side of fries
CHRIS:
Appetizer : The special of the night
Dinner : Bravo Burger or Osso Bucco 
(Chris says it's the best burger in town! & is our favorite date night spot & they aren't skimpy w/ their drink pours, which we love :-)

Captain Daniel Packer Inn (DPI)
ME:
 Appetizer : Classic Caesar Salad
Dinner : Lobster Stuffed Artichoke Hearts 
(minus the breadcrumbs for gluten free!) or Gluten Free Pizza 
CHRIS:
Appetizer : Calamari 
Dinner : Lemon Peppered Chicken
(The best Bar Food menu and cozy environment in town!)

Go Fish
ME & CHRIS :
SUSHI :
Appetizer : Miso Soup, Seaweed Salad, Tokyo Nachos
Dinner : Sushi Rolls :
Yaki Maki - California Roll w/ Smoked Salmon
Sansei Roll : Spicy Crab with Thai Chili Sauce
Playboy Roll : always a special of the night (always ask for it!)
(By FAR the best sushi around, even better than most places in Boston, no joke!)

Oyster Club
Their menu is forever rotating, but insanely delicious.
Happy hour oysters in the Tree House part of the restaurant is definitely something not to miss!

Engine Room
ME:
Appetizer : Deviled Eggs
Dinner : Crispy Tofu Burger (minus the bun) or the Cobb Salad (with no bacon)
CHRIS:
Appetizer : 
Dinner : In Praise Of Katz's Deli sandwich, aka a Pastrami Sandwich w/ a twist!
(Their bourbons and specialty beers etc. are the best in town!)

AZU
ME:
 Appetizer : Pomme Frites (they are the bestttt!)
(Also the Crispy Eggplant tower is amazing if you aren't gluten free)
Dinner : Downtown Nachos
CHRIS:
Appetizer : Pomme Frites
Dinner : Grilled Pies (they are all delicious!)

RICE SPICE NOODLE 
(aka Four Roosevelt, Asian Bistro)
ME:
Dinner : Drunken Noodles w/ Tofu or Green Curry w/ sticky rice
CHRIS:
Dinner : Drunken Noodles w/ Chicken
(They also have a coconut Thai tea that is amazing!)

MYSTIC PIZZA
They really do have the best Gluten Free pizza in town, which is HUGE for me! nom nom nom. Chris also loves their regular pizza when you aren't looking to have a flatbread , but really want a cheesy, semi-greasy piece of pizza - Mystic Pizza is where it's at!
(Their subs and tuna salad are also super good!)
