If you didn't already know...today is VALENTINES DAY!! My very favorite day of the year! <3
Who couldn't love a day all about love?!...the most important emotion on earth! I must say that throughout my life I have never had a "terrible" Valentines Day, like so many of my friends claim.
I really think a lot of V-day hatred comes from childhood where you really want as many of those cartoon-like V-day cards from your classmates as you possibly can, and if you didn't get an extra one from your crush in your homeroom class...it was absolutely devastating! I luckily don't have any tragic tales to tell BUT can appreciate in a depressing way why so many people feel "extra alone" on Valentines Day if they don't have anyone to share it with.
Today, I have no sympathy for it because it's one of our big days & VDAY! and Chris & I are getting LEGALLY married at 5pm by a Justice Of The Peace here at our house in Mystic, CT !
