As gal's - we love getting our nails gone as much as we love shopping and adding a new staple piece to our wardrobe. That's how i feel about picking up a great new shade of nail polish & adding it to my collection!

This Fall the nail trends are far from average. Nothing too over the top and obnoxious, but all seem to be shades of lacquer that go with just about everything! 

I've always been a go-to-red-nail gal myself, but I definitely enjoy a step outside the box & a nice dark purple/black nail as well as a beige/grey, even in the white Winter days.

I'll never forget - a few years ago I was in the middle of college, so i believe it was in 2007?! I wore black nail polish at the end of Summer to a gathering of friends and a girl commented on my black nail polish and said "have you turned goth since the last time I saw you?!" and it made me laugh because I just liked it and thought it was a nice change from your average light colored nails in the Summer.

Fast forward a few short years after that - dark purple and black nails were all over the place & even on the girl who made that comment. 

It still makes me chuckle to this day :-)
