Shine Bright Like A Diamond ~

Funny this should come up on StumbleUpon - (i go on that site every day, it's just too fun!!) 

because today was as huge and exciting day in the world of wedding shenanigans and diamonds!! haha

My engagement ring has a cushion cut diamond - "effortlessly romantic" as i'd like to call it! (and so would this ring calculator thing from StumbleUpon!) 

It has been the most stunning ring I could have ever imagined for the past 7 months, until today it got even more amazing! We got my wedding band(s) made!!

We found this amazing ring that is called an "insert" ring...basically it is 2 bands with a space in the middle that your own engagement ring fits in to! IT IS STUNNING!!!! I never thought my engagement ring could look more beautiful than it already does, but with an extra ring of diamonds on each side...it's like VA VA VOOM! Amazing!!! 

Chris and I couldn't be more thrilled! We went to the same place where Chris had my engagement ring made - The Platinum House in Newport, RI!
If you're form the area, you have to go see Angel and talk jewels with this man...he's amazing and makes gorgeous creations!!

We wont be giving our rings to each other until Mexico on our wedding day (March 7th) when we saw our vows, so for now I have to sit tight and stare at it in a  box... it's tough! haha <3

Did I mention today I also picked up my WEDDING DRESS?!! I got it from a friends' boutique in Newport, RI as well about 6 months ago and had it specially made. It just came in and is now in my possession!! It turned out even more amazing than I had remembered! SUCH A GOOD DAY!

Miraculously, from the same boutique - Andria Bird Bridal, I found my short wedding dress for the Mystic, CT reception at The Branford House this upcoming Summer!! It is stunninggggg. I am almost more excited (not really but almost!!!) for that dress as my Mexico wedding dress :-) YAY! Can't wait to show you all what they both look like!
