This past weekend was a very busy one! I can't believe it's already Tuesday, which is weird because all day yesterday I thought it was Wednesday...harsh reality, haha.
On Friday Chris and I went to Boston for the day in search of an apartment and artist work space/retail shop to expand Emulsion in to! (lots of exciting things to look forward to this Fall!)
We had been planning on taking a road trip out to Cali, for a while now- which is currently being put on hold for those of you who haven't been updated quite yet on our plans! It's been a LOT of back and forth, and we finally came to a conclusion that Cali is going to have to wait for a bit.
Boston is where we need to be right now for business and expanding on the East Coast a bit more before we can head out West! :-) :-(
So many things change in a year so who knows where on EARTH we'll be next year even, but at least for now and until after we're married next year and have our wedding in CT next Summer, we are going to be around here. Moving out West would just be wayyyyy tooooo muchhhh to take on right now, so it's good! We're happy.
Boston is one of my favorite cities mostly as of recently as you can tell from my previous posts from the past few weeks. It has so many great areas and a really good art & fashion scene, amazing galleries and fabulous shopping.
We would be really psyched if we could find somewhere to move the business to expand and a great apartment. (they are ALL SO EXPENSIVE!) it's crazy!
You could legit buy your dream house in CT for what you would pay for a teeny tiny little 1 bedroom apartment in a nice area of Boston, its cray cray.
But we're still on the prowl and hopefully NEXT weekend (the 17th-19th) when we go back to look at places, something will arise out of nowhere and we will snatch it so we can get a move on our move!
:-)
SATURDAY-SUNDAY we went on an impromptu VT trip with some friends and our puppies! It was SO nice to get away for a night, to have a little change of scenery and breathe some serious fresh air. That's my favorite part about Ludlow, VT (okemo mountain) any time of year, it's so beautiful! We're very lucky to have a get-away house to go to. <3
