^ our front door!!
WE GOT OUR APARTMENT IN BOSTON!!! So, it's official! We are moving to Boston in the next couple of weeks, and moving the retail/manufacturing basically down the street from our new apartment. It's AMAZING! We can literally walk for 8 minutes from our brownstone to our new shop in the South End. It's gorgeous! The area we're living in and moving Emulsion to couldn't be nicer. It's in SOWA, which is an artist district with cobblestone streets and a ton of amazing galleries surrounding us.
Neither Chris or I have ever really known much about the South End of Boson, but after apartment hunting all over the city we kind of stumbled upon it and completely fell in love!
It's a 15 min walk to Newbury street and in between, tons of restaurants, shopping, bars and parks.
Our place is a 1 bedroom with a cool little fire escape, office, living room, cute bathroom, quirky kitchen, fabulous closet space for being in a city (YAY!!) , and big bay windows that face the front of the street.
Now the chaos begins. We have to pack up the Newport RI shop, close the Mystic CT shop (sadly it was only a pop-up shop in downtown for the Summer!) and move thousands of pounds of machinery and tons of clothes and displays to our new space in Boston.
On top of all that, paint our new apartment (which is currently painted Fall harvest colors, YUCK!!), buy new furniture for our place, and move ourselves and Cashew into bean town!
LOTS and LOTS to do, but very very exciting!
We have the most amazing family and friends everrr that have supported us thru all of our crazy moves, helped us paint numerous places and made our lives a lot easier than they could have been.
So to all of you, thank you thank you thank you!! We love you A LOT! <3 <3 <3
