Happy almost May 1st! Today's the last day in April and i'm beginning to think i missed a week or two here and there considering how fast April flew on by! I guess it'a a good thing, meaning i'm busy not counting down the days until May, but tomorrow is May 1st and looking at all the things that are happening between now and the end of May is completely overwhelming!..but in a good way!

Lots and lots of exciting things going on in my life right now. Sooo busy! 

Currently as you know, Chris and I are moving out of our Newport, RI home back to Mystic, CT for the Summertime. For the past 2 weeks we have been giving out little housey-cottage a makeover, hence all the pictures of blue cabinets! haha (those took me days to paint, literally!) What a job that little house has been! But it is FINALLY done being painted, and we have begun to pack up our Newport house and start the moving process! 

That has basically been the past 2 weeks of life~ re-doing the cottage, painting, etc as well as the new Emulsion Apparel Mystic shop! We painted it the same color green as our kitchen (& bathroom) and it looks awesome! The boys put together and built these awesome dark stained shelving units for the shop which has really made it start looking and feeling legit! Very exciting :-) The shop will be open for 4 months (as of right now as a pop-up shop type deal!) unless Emulsion kills it (which they WILL!) and all goes well to keep it open forEVAHHH!!... who knows haha. It will be awesome though, and it is very conveniently located within walking distance from our little housey! weeeee. 

Sorry for the lack of posts..as you now know, i'm going blind from painting and staring at walls, my bones and muscles have never hurt so badly from all the work we've done, and on top of all of that, i have THE WORST tooth ache EVER and literally am a hair away from ripping out my own tooth.. gross but might be needed because i am in SO much pain! :-( ughh no fun! Dentist apt on Wed back home, lets hope i can survive until then. Lots of wine and tylenol.. eeeeeek!

1. Chris' Dad got this giant life-size Obama cut out. We walked into his parents house over the weekend and jumped when we saw it peering at us right when we opened the front door! haha Pretty funny.

2. Dave painting the Emulsion shop window! It looks AWESOME! <3

3. Fruit salad type of morning after eating dinner out days in a row while working in Mystic over the past week! Chris, Dave and I ate it pretty quickly...nomnomnommm!

4. Thanks to my old trusty Puma sneaks from 10th grade of High School, and old torn up Abercrombie Jeans, I have looked homeless and outdated for the past week of my life. Yee-haw.

5. Out lovely blue kitchen cabinets and faithful guard doggy, Cashew Bologna Fiftal.

6. Today, the box'ing of clothes and real packing began! eeeek!

10. Cashew is very worn out from all the mayhem these days, & he genuinely loves to put his puppy stink on all of our clean laundry...as per usual. :-P
