If you're wondering where I've been the past few weeks (well months it seems) ...
WE FINALLY BOUGHT A HOUSE!!!!
We couldn't be more excited to share our journey of moving, updating and enjoying our beautiful new house with everyone who wants to come along for the ride.
To be honest the past few months have been beyond insane when it comes to house stuff. We were hairs away from signing all of the paperwork on a different house where our offer was accepted and then we got the rug ripped out from under us. Everything fell apart and well, we lost the house.
We were completely shocked and heart broken and basically gave up on "house hunting" for a little while when this beautiful gem of a doll house popped up - we jumped on it!
Needless to say - everything happens for a reason, but man oh man... buying a house (especially your first home) is no joke!!! It is SUCH a process and usually takes months longer than anticipated.
It has been extremely hard to be patient along the way, but we are FINALLY moving in within the next week or so and absolutely can't wait to get our paws on it!
Luckily we found a house in an amazing location that doesn't need much more updating than new appliances & fixtures, interior & exterior paint & elbow some grease.
So far we have our bedroom paint picked out, purchased and ready to roll the day we get our keys!
