Next weekend our family is going on an Orlando, FL Disney trip - and we couldn't be more excited!
Although we will only be there for 3 nights and 4 days, we plan to explore as much of Disney as humanly possible and enjoy ever minute of sunshine!
When packing for a long weekend, the first thing I always pack is undergarments, then work my way up and down to be sure I don't forget anything.
Because Disney is a pretty informal place and we will be doing a lot of walking around and going on rides; practical clothing is a must.
Here is my list of what I plan on packing for our Disney long-weekend away :
1. Undergarments & PJ's - 2 bra's, more than enough undies for 4 days & cute pj's
2. Swimsuits - 1 one piece and 1 two piece for lounging by the pool
3. Travel clothes & layers - jeans & some type of jacket to leave the cold in which will also will be super useful at night if it cools off! A scarf for bundling and snuggling on the airplane & any other travel accessories you will need -
ie. ipad, headphones, camera, jewelry, sunnies, hats & toiletries
4. Shoes - sneakers are a must & so are comfy sandals - Birkenstocks are perfect for a long day of walking ! One pair of sandals for going down to the pool and for wearing out to dinner & if you have enough space, an extra pair of "whatever you feel like" shoes that you feel you need to bring for some reason or another
5. Maxi dresses - they fold up pretty small and can be dressed up or down depending on where you head for dinner
6. 3 pairs of shorts - classic denim, white & black that can be mix and matched with the tops you bring for casual wear during the day or dressing up at night
7. 5-7 tops that can be mix and matched with the shorts you bring. You'll need t-shirt, tank & long sleeved options depending on the weather
8. A travel/daily useable backpack ! I don't know about you but if I walk around anywhere for hours with a shoulder bag, but the end of the day I feel like my body is going to tear in half. A backpack is the perfect option to use while traveling and for your daily activities during the day while being able to use both of your arms and keeping your body feeling balanced.
9. I don't have it shown above - but you should always pack some sort of rain gear when you're heading to Florida! I recommend a small umbrella and/or light rain jacket that folds up small
10. A rolling carry-on suitcase because for only 3 nights away and 4 days of being away from home - all of the above should fit in a carry-on suitcase which makes traveling super easy since you won't have to check any bags!
