This past weekend was a funny one - we actually had more than one day to do absolutely nothing or anything that we wanted with no real plans! Turns out we're not all that great at not being super busy, haha. We yearn for "doing nothing" days but when it actually comes down to it, we don't know what to do with ourselves! We ended up having a great weekend that flew by as always but it was the first unscheduled weekend we've had in a very very long time. We spent most of Saturday outside, taking Cashew to Haley Farm State Park in Groton, CT where he can run free and get all of his energy out! We then had both of our parents over for dinner and make an impromptu dinner party and sat by the fire with Bailey's and planned our Euro-trip for September 2015 !
Sunday we spend splitting wood, attending an open house (ohhhh house hunting!) and running errands.. (our microwave died so we got a brand spankin' one that is a lot cuter than our old one ... good stuff. :-)
The weather was pretty weird all weekend here in New England - one day was freeeeezing! (hence the poofy coat) and the next was beautiful and 15* warmer if not more.
Get it together Mother Nature!...no wonder everyone I know is sick right now...eek!!
Now back to reality and a busy week of working on new projects!
