As you know its NYFW which is one of my all time favorite times of the year. Well, any fashion week even if its nice and far away in Europe, is still one of my favorite times of the year because the fashion surrounding it is amazing!!! 

Being an original New Yorker myself ; (born there, went to college there, worked professionally there) fashion week always brings back memories of how insane it was working some of the shows and how far along blogging has come from the beginning of time until now. 

Fashion bloggers have always been fighting for a place in the fashion world; to show designers and editors that they have a special place in the fashion worlds heart. Back then (6 years ago) when I moved to NYC for college, I had been "blogging" on TUMBLR for years! My first ever blog was called "Plastic Jungle" (which still exists somewhere in the outer space web world) because I started it right after having lost interest in Myspace and left school and life in Los Angeles where I first attended college. It was my only real creative outlet that was just mine. It became a place to speak freely, post & save images that inspired me, & really opened my eyes up to how powerful and fun the fashion world really was. I've been hooked and blogging in some form ever since! 

My absolute favorite part about Fashion Week (besides seeing all the amazing new designer duds) is the Street Style! It is by far the thing I miss most about living in a big city. The people watching, and style inspiration is non stop 24-7 - especially surrounding NYFW!
