With Spring around the bend, I have just a few more weeks (hopefully) of being bundled up and wearing all my Winter gear. Although wearing tights when living in New England can some how get carried in to still being worn in May, I tend to drop my super Wintery weather clothes come March out of hopefulness and just plain being sick of all my wooly sweaters.
The days do begin to get longer, the sun stays out past 6pm and it feels like all becomes well in the world again once Springtime hits! Before I rotate my closet completely, I thought it was a good time to let you peek inside part of my closet and into the world of my Winter wardrobe.
Because my husband and I live in what is known as "the cottage" - a 1,000'ish sq ft little house, we have learned how to get creative when it comes to storage! Our guest room, which is the only thing on our 2nd floor, is part office as well as part closet. Every time the Seasons change, we take a weekend to rotate our wardrobes and head over to my parent's house where we store the rest of our belongings and clothing, and do a transferring of bins from our house to their house, and back again! Even with 2 closets downstairs and racks in practically every room, there is just never enough storage or closet space to house all our (my) stuff.
I hang all my blouses on a rack in my bedroom, have an armoire where I store my socks & undies, gym clothes, sweats, pj's, t-shirts & long sleeved shirts. My downstairs closet houses all of my pants, blazers, long sweaters & the majority of my boots. My sweaters are stored in a huge trunk at the end of our bed & everything else is what you see in these photo's of my "other closet"! In our kitchen we have a clothing rack by the front door where all of our coats hang & where we store our hats, gloves, scarves, etc!
Enter the world of playing dress up with me & my side-kick/assistant, Cashew Bologna! <3

To answer some of your questions :

Where are most of your clothes from?
- The majority of my clothing is from everywhere imaginable! All over the world, every brand - store - designer & price point. Some of my all-time favorite pieces are vintage, some are designer & some are from H&M!

What kid of dog is Cashew?
- Cashew is a Cava-Poo ! (Cavalier King Charles Spaniel & Poodle mix)

How tall are you?
- I am 5'8

Where do you buy your vintage clothes?
- Most of my vintage finds come from Boston, MA, Providence, RI, NYC, Paris and offline.

Where is New England?/Where do you live?
- New England is a region in the northeastern corner of the US consisting of the six states of Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Vermont, Rhode Island & Connecticut. I live in CT !

Who takes your photos?
Luckily my husband is an amazing photographer and began his career as a professional skateboarding videographer & photog! If it isn't an instagram photo from my account or web images, it's most likely that Chris Fiftal Photography/Anchor Wood took my photo's - (my husband, Chris!)
